A traditional, yet elegant touch to any reception is the guest book and table. Generally located in the foyer of the reception or directly inside the reception site entrance.  It can be a little table decorated with a candle, a little greenery, flowers, or bows, with chairs for the guest book attendants.

The attendant (s) can offer each guest a pen to sign the book, or optionally, no attendants need be present.  The book and pen can be left open, guests will generally stop and sign on their way past.
